Medium depth cherry red, clear meniscus. Bouquet of figs/dates and butterscotch! Palate is a well matured, soft truffly mix of dried fruit, marmalade and liquorice. Not tasted anything like this in my life - truly memorable wine.

Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK

Medium silver colour, with a hint of lime.
This has a lovely nose, honeyed, peppery and complex.
Medium bodied palate, oily, mineral and salty. An interesting wine from Jim Barry and enjoyed tasting it.

very pale colour, fine, clean restrained nose, have to search for the nuances but they are there, slatey, slightly flotal, Granny Smith apple character on the nose, distinct Watervale character, nice, needs a bit of air to develop, palate very clean, fresh, nice balance and length with distinct clean acidity, good but just too young to show its character, 5 years would be very beneficial and it has the requisite structure, really excellent QPR (12%)

This bottle was vibrant, fresh, and very sound. Dark purple core & firm ruby at the rim. Satisfying nose of black fruits & Asian spice.
My favorite among 05 Amon Ra, 16 Alban Reva, 18 Mollydooker EP drunk same event.

This was not for my palate, it was medium bodied with medium tannins. The fruit was not forward at all, I was expecting more. Not sure how the 2021 vintage was but I had high hopes. Will try others to see if it just this one bottle or some kind of trend.

approaching full development. limey Kero nose, grassy hue, plenty of lovely fruit up front that flows to a long finish. still has enough acid to carry for several years. Great wine from an excellent vintage. Drink over next few years but no need to wait

Lots of fresh acidity. Salinity and fresh limes are the dominant flavours, mouthfeel starting to round out, some softening from the few years I suspect. Great aperitif.

Very fruity if not quite over the top. Some earth nuance. Like an everyday Cali cab. A bit alcoholic.

A direct communicator but still too youthful to be the complete package.

Linear, direct and laser like focus, this wine will cut through anything. Has evolved but not much with notes of bitter honey, citrus, green apple and beeswax that dominate.

Drink from 2026 to 10+ years after that.

Outstanding wine. Secondary chocolate flavours with tertiary leather and some primary dark fruit. Good acidity holding everything freshly together. It's in a great place and will continue to cellar for another decade.

In a good spot now… primary and secondary flavors weaving together for a beautiful nose and initial palate. Not a huge mid palate and finish, thus the score is impacted but a really nice expression that won’t disappoint

Aiolos walkaround tasting (Aiolos HQ): Big bold profile, black fruit, cherry, currant, whole spice, chocolate, coffee notes, there is a green element here too adding to some freshness
Palate showing boldness, tannins tight, black fruit, stalky notes, med body, long finish, rather lacking some depth and concentration in mid palate

Zesty aromas of candied citrus and gunflint; palate-cleansingly dry, with lime and lemon zest, stony on the finish. A characterful wine, youthful but so enjoyable!

The Cabernet equivalent to the Armagh Shiraz A Cab/ Malbec blend from vines planted in 1964 so 60yo not sure of the blend %
Colour deep impenetrable colour purple hues blood red to clear on the rim 15/15
Nose intense black and red fruits blackberry blackcurrant redcurrant , none of the cabernet vegetable tomato leaf aroma , violet florals graphite tea tree blue gum spice amazing complexity 29/30
Palate full bodied explosive flavours from the nose grippy tannins , silky mouthfeel , savoury , rich ripe black fruits , very long finish perfect 42/44
overall wow , i've had this a couple of times and this is by far the best experience, just needs another couple of years to resolve the tannins but very drinkable now 10/11

An enjoyable quaff.

A simple wine that lacks complexity from the wines from Greece but with a 4-year bottle age, it is showing at its best. Some green apple, spice and lime on the nose, it is easy on the palate with notes of peach, citrus and apple. Lovely freshness and a well rounded finish with hints of saltiness and minerals. Wonderful aperitif wine.

Drink now to 3+ years.

Full-bodied, concentrated fruit aroma when opened.
Beautiful texture and well-balanced oak.
Best decantered for a period before drinking.
Drinking beautifully in March 2024.
This wine could not improve with more bottle aging.
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, toast and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

Delicious. Big ripe and rich. Behind the big mainly black fruit there a lot of iron earth notes. A robust structure, with good acidity here. Full bodied. Long with some complexity. Beginning to drink now, ideally give it another 5 years.

15 years young, wow Australian Rieslings age so gracefully. Beeswax, lemon zest, nectarine peel, apricot, lime juice, crushed stones and a touch of petrol. The palate is bright juicy and citrus peel driven, with incredibly refreshing acidity, orchard notes, crushed stones characteristics, a layered mid palate leading to a lip smacking yet focused finish. 92++ this is only going to get better in the coming years, shame the wife does not like Rieslings 😢
